In 1991 Bill Johnson founded TDI to deliver 24/7/365 infrastructure management for mission critical government and corporate networks. Bill and his mission critical customers understood infrastructures had to be independent of the devices they were managing.

Bill's original vision was the delivery of "agentless," no-footprint non-intrusive, active monitoring and remediation of the entire corporate infrastructure---from a single window. He understood that although failover solutions were architected for critical environments, active components still fail and when they do, it is critical to understand root cause and be able to remotely repair and remediate problems to get a device back online as soon as possible.

Bill assembled a team to build remote management and remediation capabilities for the VMS environment, later extending these capabilities to HPux, Linux, Windows, Solaris and most recently, the virtualized data center. Early adaptors included the National Security Agency, MilStar Satellite, European Space Agency, the Federal Land Bank, Mostek Semiconductor, International Telecharge, and Alcatel.

Beginning in 1996, Bill and his team were awarded patents for their innovative methods of "outside-in" infrastructure management, a paradigm where the infrastructure was being actively monitored and managed even if the O/S went down.

Bill has grown TDI organically using customer funded R&D to both find the most compelling infrastructure solutions and to have a ready market for them when they are ready to market.

Bill holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Louisville.

Bill has over 20 years of experience in the infrastructure management field. He is a regular speaker for professional IT organizations regarding data center automation and enterprise computing. Bill is on the Board of Directors of Connect, the worldwide HP user group.

Brian Blackmarr

Brian Blackmarr is President of Dallas based Fusion Labs Inc. and directly oversees the operations of its Hosted and Managed Services Group. He has served in this capacity with several Fusion Labs subsidiaries and was President of the predecessor firm B.R. Blackmarr and Associates, BRBA , which he helped to take public on NASDAQ in 1997. He is a former IBM engineer and has been in the software and technical services consulting for over 30 years. He was a partner with several consulting firms prior to founding BRBA and is a co-founder and partner of Fusion Labs.

His experience includes technical projects and ongoing support for a wide variety of major domestic and international firms and governmental agencies. He has conducted professional seminars on a variety of technical topics in five continents and authored over 200 technical articles, white papers and columns. He’s brought several software products to market and worked directly in all aspects of their development and support. He is currently a Director of FFE Industries Inc., the largest U.S. public company refrigerated carrier, and a Trustee of the A+M Research Foundation.

He is a Registered Professional Engineer, a Certified Arbitrator ( IT Related ) and the former President of several engineering association chapters. He has received several awards including “ Fasted Growing High Tech Exporter “ and has served on the IT Advisory Council for Texas Tech University. Brian holds a BS and MS in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.

In the relatively new world of IT security, Robert Myles is a veteran, with over two decades of experience and two current industry certifications and numerous affiliations. He began his career as a health services technician with the US Coast Guard, where he first saw technology’s potential to enable clinicians to focus on patient care rather than the “business” of healthcare. The computerized pharmacy inventory management solution he developed saved his department many thousands of dollars of time and materials.  While in the Coast Guard, Mr. Myles also gained significant security and law enforcement experience, including a Federal Secret-level security clearance while managing the classified material program for his Coast Guard units. Upon leaving the Coast Guard he continued to build on his mix of healthcare, computing and security experience in positions of increasing responsibility and scope with employment at Southwest Washington Medical Center, Oregon Health and Science University, Parkland Health and Hospital System and Fisher Investments. He came to Texas Health Resources in 2007 as Director, Information Security/Systems Information Security Officer.  Mr. Myles has a Business Management and Communications Degree from Concordia University.

Bio:  As the Vice President – Product Development and Product Management for Telx, Rose Klimovich leads Telx efforts creating the Telx Strategy, developing new products and services, managing present products, and, developing relationships with vendors, partners, industry analysts and the press.

Prior to this, Rose worked at AT&T and was VP of Business Strategy responsible for strategy development, and evaluation and investment in new markets and technologies.  This included developing offers specific to the Content/Media, Internet and Broadband industries and developing the strategy and plan for the AT&T IP network.

Rose has more than 20 years of experience and achievement in building, scaling and managing Internet, VPN and data businesses.  Rose led AT&T from late entrant to the #1 share position in VPN.  In addition to VPN services, Rose led AT&T to be one of the market leaders in IP backbone and IP services.

Rose has an MBA and a BS in Math/Economics from Carnegie-Mellon University.  She also attended the Harvard Management Development Program for Executives.  Rose is on the Board of Directors of the Women’s Venture Fund.

Joseph Shaffner is the North American Technical Director for Sybase, Inc.  Joseph has been in technical sales for over fourteen years with Sybase. He has actively engaged with large enterprise operations such as AOL, Federal Express, Nielsen Media other Federal Agencies specializing in Data Warehousing development and design.  Prior to joining Sybase, Joseph was a financial systems consultant with several firms, including Price Waterhouse.  He received a BS in Business Administration and BS in Economics from the University of Maine an MBA from George Washington University, and completed an Executive Leadership Program at Stanford, and resides in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Rick started early creating his own version of dithering in 1980 to create thousands of colors on an Apple II which was “limited” to only 8 colors 5 years before it came to regular use in software. He also used spare time to write a program to do his trigonometry homework raising the ire of his math teacher and getting extra credit in both classes.  He was president of three of his 5 Junior Achievement companies and ran 5 Boy Scouts Explorer posts before being elected to serve as the Bay Lakes Council Chairman overseeing the scouting programs in over 200 communities at the age of 19 years old. His early career allowed him the pleasure of working with American Airlines, ATT, Sprint, US Postal Service, several Republican Party campaigns, various religious organizations and Non-Profits such as Special Olympics. He rewrote the scripts to increase sales for the “Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance” phone calls you received from your credit card providers in the 1990s. At one point he was running calling programs for 9 different companies including several insurance companies, US Postal Service and the Nielson Rating surveys.  He took the risk of buying his employer and re-launching as Trans-Tech Services Inc. To dedicate more time to the business he quit college, lucky enough to have several programming languages and a full complement of systems analysis and design knowledge. He transformed the internal processes – from sales to shipping, mirrored a Xenix system to Windows and created a CRM program from scratch. He developed “Collision Vision”; a computerized automotive repair estimating system. He developed marketing, sourcing, production, and even wrote the lease contracts for the lease program. Within 3 years had built up 17,000 business customers nationwide selling software and systems, auto polish, plastics, and other specialty items. In 1995 he turned 31 and finished 8 years with the United States Navy Reserves. In 1998 he started a web design consultancy to assist the development of UBID.com a hopeful startup in the web auction race.  Since 2000 he has provided his telecommunications expertise through Time Warner, Cypress, Birch Telecom, Centric Voice, and currently with XO Communications. He has helped hundreds of businesses position their telecommunications resources for efficient and profitable results. He is proud to have helped Dallas Food Bank and Make-a-Wish Foundation as part of his many successful strategies to increase productivity and profitability.  Rick is currently the Chapter Vice Chair of the Dallas Fort Worth branch of Techxans CIO Network and Forums. He is an avid attendee of several local chambers of commerce and a member of the International Association of Certified Microsoft Partners. He enjoys networking and has built a personal network of several hundred business contacts.  Rick and Linda have three boys, two are Life scouts and one is a Wolf Cub scout. They enjoy weekend adventures throughout Texas.

Pam Terry has considerable experience in the technology industry beginning her foray into technology in 1994.  She has a proven track record in sales and marketing in data, voice, collocation, IT consulting, application development, ecommerce, and technology training.  She was most recently an Account Executive with Time Warner Telecom, a Major Accounts Consultant in the Business Division of Time Warner Cable and VP of Marketing for ERGOS Technology.  During her tenure in the industry, Pam had the pleasure of co-founding Techxans with Tony and even created the “Techxans” name.   Prior to Pam’s technology industry experience, Pam was Executive Director of the Galleria Chamber of Commerce and previously provided marketing consulting in the accounting firm industry.  Throughout her career, Pam has been involved in community and trade organizations, having obtained Accreditation in Public Relations from the Public Relations Society of America, and serving on the boards of several charitable and membership groups such as the American Organ Transplant Association and the Association of IT Professionals.  Pam is currently serving as Regional Director of Powerful Women International, a women’s empowerment membership group.  Pam brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in association management and technology to her role as Executive Director of Techxans and Tech Execs.  Originally from Brownsville, Texas, Pam has been in Houston since 1971.

Along with two other individuals, Pamela Terry and Laura Ramey, Anthony Huang launched the Techxans organization back in 2000.  Techxans.org has sustained the ups and downs of the Information Technology industry for the past 7 years and continues to strive and grow in size and capabilities.  In 2001, Techxans reached national and international attention for helping to launch EnronX.org which was the largest Ex-Enron contact site and was mentioned on the front page of The Wall Street Journal and CIO Magazine.  In January 2007, Techxans formed Techxans InterActive Broadcast providing Internet TV broadcasting, strategic online advisory services for Techxans Corporate Members & Sponsoring companies.  Prior to Techxans, Anthony Huang was the CEO of Rexton InterActive Consulting that led the market in providing strategic web consulting for over 100 major clients across 23 different industries. Anthony also served as the CIO for 2 healthcare ventures.  Anthony began his career with Apple Computers and Ernst & Young and was a recipient of the Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 1998 with The Greater Houston Partnership.  He has been a speaker at numerous conferences including InformationWeek, Gartner Group Midsize Enterprise Summit, and Red Herring Venture Forums. Anthony graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Management Information Systems and lives in Sugar Land with his wife and two children.
